Enernew

A solar EPC company with substantial offline credentials but no digital presence. We built the digital surface area to match the work, and aimed it at the specific B2B audience that buys industrial solar.

Thesis

Enernew had the offline credentials of a serious solar EPC business and no digital surface area to prove it. We built the content engine that matched the audience technical, financial, policy literate and gave the brand visibility in the channels where the actual buying conversation begins.

Enernew is the renewable energy arm of the Sriram Cables group.

A Gurugram-based solar EPC business, built on a 45-year legacy in India’s cable
and power infrastructure industry.

Incorporated as a private limited entity, Enernew operates across rooftop and ground-mount solar systems, large-scale solar parks, and on-site B2B captive plants under both CAPEX and OPEX financing models. Its project portfolio includes the 1.36 MW distributed rooftop solar installation at Pragati Power Station Bawana Delhi government’s largest single-site rooftop solar deployment alongside the Bikaner solar park and a broader base of more than 50 MW commissioned across commercial, industrial, and government clients. The parent group, Sriram Cables, manufactures from a facility in Chopanki Industrial Area, Bhiwadi, in proximity to Delhi.

A credible offline business with no presence in the channels where its buyers were researching.

When Enernew engaged us, the company’s project work was substantial
but its digital footprint was minimal.

The audience for industrial solar plant heads, CFOs, and procurement leads at commercial and industrial enterprises was already active on LinkedIn and Google before initiating vendor conversations. They were comparing EPC partners, reading up on financing structures, and forming views on policy frameworks like ISTS and Green Open Access. Enernew was not visible in either channel. The gap was not awareness in a consumer sense; it was credibility in the specific rooms where credibility was being evaluated.

Build content for the buyer's research path, not for the brand's reach metrics.

Industrial solar buyers respond to numbers, policy literacy, and operational specifics. The content strategy was built around that, not around generic sustainability messaging.

Our work ran across three workstreams in parallel: organic visibility on the platforms where the buyer was already active, search capture at the research stage, and email as the closing stage channel once a lead was warm. The connecting principle was that every piece of content had to be useful before it was branded. Financial breakdowns, policy explainers, and project grounded specifics took priority over aspirational visuals or category level statements.

What we shipped

The work, across three streams.

Grew the LinkedIn page from zero to 7,900 organic followers in six months.

LinkedIn was the primary platform, with Instagram running a parallel visual content track.

Content focused on subjects the target audience was already researching: CAPEX versus OPEX financing structures for industrial solar, the implications of ISTS and Green Open Access policy for industrial energy buyers, on-grid versus off grid system selection, and ROI math for rooftop and ground mount deployments. Posts were designed to be screenshot worthy, meaning a buyer could lift a single chart or breakdown directly into an internal meeting. Instagram extended the visual identity into a complementary feed for audiences encountering the brand outside of LinkedIn.

Top-10 national search rankings on core solar EPC keywords.

Long-form editorial written for the buyer’s actual research path, not for keyword density.

Articles published through Enernew’s Knowledge Center covered the topics a B2B solar buyer encounters during decision making on-grid versus off-grid solar systems, off-site solar for business, the financial case for working with a specialist EPC partner, and the operational implications of ISTS and Green Open Access for industrial energy consumers. Each piece was structured to answer the questions a procurement team would have at their stage of the decision, from initial scoping through financial modelling, supported by data and policy references where relevant.

A consistent email design system for buyer nurturing across the sales cycle.

The brief: make a piece of paper feel earned. Result, framed, mounted, and photographed across sites within weeks of rollout.

Why LinkedIn was the primary platform

Industrial solar buyers do their professional research on LinkedIn,
not Instagram.

The platform split was a deliberate allocation, not a default.

Most solar brands treat Instagram as their primary channel, anchored to aspirational visual content. For a B2B EPC business selling multi-crore installations to plant heads, CFOs, and procurement teams, that audience profile does not apply at the decision-making stage. LinkedIn carried the heavier strategic and editorial weight in our content plan, while Instagram functioned as a visual reinforcement layer rather than a primary lead source. The allocation followed the audience, not the convention.

Six months in, the digital surface area matched the offline credentials.
